In order to become more aware of Valley High Continuation School culture, we conducted a study through the perceptions of daily life experienced by the students, teachers, faculty, and administration. Specifically looking at daily rituals typically overseen in a school setting, the study focused on the routine of standing and reciting the pledge of allegiance. In our efforts to become more knowledgable of the school, we explored views of students and faculty through personal interviews, free-writes and surveys.
